  my wife (lifetime nonjw) has never been around any jdubs her whole life, until she met me and my crazy family.

  today i was reading some of the posts from this website, and she asked me why do jw call god jehovah and not just god or lord, isn't that like calling your own father by his real name?.

  i remember when i was a kid i said lord once and my dad corrected me and said jehovah, why is that?

  first in april - i get a call from two elder's trying to set up a meeting i assume [ i told them not interested in speaking to them and hung up ] some may recall that thread.. then last month - two more show up at the house, and wifey ignores them at the door.

  [i am at work].

  tonight - 'brother t' calls on the phone and asks for me.

  Is the first year really the hardest?????

  i have been married a year and a half, and everyone says the first year is the hardest.

  well, the crappyness seems to be creeping right on into the second year.

  i thought it was suppossed to get easier each year.

  Geesh Mama, sounds like an episode of Everybody Loves Raymond

  Unfortunatly there is no fast fix, as for me I left home at 17 and have had to do everything for myself since I was 15 so my wife has it pretty damn good, I cook every meal (wanted to be a chef) I do most of the Laundry, and my job is the bathroom (mostly because a dirty bathroom freaks me out) I told my wife the only things I hate doing are dishes and folding laundry, so to trade off she makes me Iron all the clothes. (I Iron better than her she is a 3 line highway down my arm girl)

  Hope things get better for you, guys are lazy and sometimes we just don't get it! I think in his case its more along the lines of "well my mom used to do that for me" Just remember you married a man not a Mama's boy. Keep watching Everybody Loves Raymond and get some ideas how to deal

  Have you ever had just one of those days?

  it started out the same, ...cleaning floors, bathrooms, kitchen, ...even got the fridge cleaned out.. the household was humming.

  ran to the store to get dinner ingredients for grilling, special salad etc.. all was ok until the air went out for the 4th time this week.

  called the ac guy out, he showed up within an hour.

  I think we are having the same kind of day, got stuck at the bank, 90 degrees outside, in a dress shirt and slacks, my Mini cooper died, had to wait 1 hour for help, Just spoke to the dealership and they think it MIGHT be under warrenty but bring it in and they will tell me!!!!!

  Sorry for what your going through, I was in Florida during Hurricane Francis, How did people live in Florida before they had AC??

  My wife and I are going on our 3rd year this November, I think I'm the problem in our relationship, we don't really fight or anything I'm just too grumpy
